Katamama Hotel Bali was our first hospitality project, developed between 2012 and April 2016. PT Diraja Surya Furniture was responsible for all custom woodworking, working in close collaboration with the Netherlands-based architectural firm OMA, local architect Andra Matin, and the interior design team.
Our next major project was Potato Head Studios Hotel Bali, with construction commencing in 2017 and completed in 2021. The project involved the same architectural and interior design collaborators, continuing a shared vision of craftsmanship, sustainability, and timeless design.
Both Katamama Hotel and Potato Head Studios have been widely recognized as some of the world’s best-designed hotels, featured in leading international design and architecture magazines and receiving numerous prestigious awards.
PT Diraja Surya Furniture is proud to have been an integral part of these landmark projects and was featured in an interview by Monocle Magazine, Issue 91 (2016), highlighting our contribution to contemporary design and craftsmanship.
